Below Broadway Comedy Night
Rotating line up of LA Comics in the subterranean nether bar atop LA's Under Realm.

It translates closest to “where the listening is easy.”
TheSanctuary
Five floors of a Broadway landmark. A house with its own rules and a standing welcome for mortals and monsters alike.
Step across the threshold and the noise of the city stops behind you. That is the whole promise. A room where the arguing outside does not follow you in, and where nobody asks you to be anything other than what you are.
Clifton's has been many things since 1932: cafeteria, cabinet of curiosities, the strangest room on Broadway. It fed anyone who walked in, whether or not they could pay. Sanctuary DTLA carries that forward and makes it explicit: this is neutral ground and all are welcome.
Come for the comedy, stay for the dancing, and if you notice that some of the regulars seem to be something other than human. Well. Every good room in this city has its secrets.
